Alright, things have settled down. Good. It seems that no one wants to be friends with the Necromancer. As usual, no surprises.
"Well, it seems that my mere presence is darkening your day, so I'll be going now."
Roy made his way past Revlis and Kimiko and ventured a little ways down the beach. He stopped and let out a deep sigh, then kept on going. He kept walking away, not looking back until he thought they weren't looking anymore, before he fell on his knees, shaking, sweating and grasping his heart.
"...get out..."

She would have scoffed, but not knowing enough about the situation and the powers that Revie had held her back. He was already calling her friend? He was quite simple minded in some things, she supposed. Still...a little bit of fluttering in her chest betrayed the mindset she was trying to keep.
To have a friend...would keep the loneliness away. Even with the knowledge that she could have a friend would be encouraging. Kimiko closed her eyes and continued her trek. He was a deamon. If she could prove he was not a Cultist, then it would be fine to be friends, right?
He talked to her then, asked her where she was going. She glanced back to the retreating intruder who had not spoken of his name. He didn't seem to want to pose any more danger. She could stop her own retreat and continue playing with Revie, which she had a hunch that it was what he might want to do.
"I'm not feeling so well, Revie," she answered. "I'm going to head out and try to rest somewhere." She hesitated before adding on: "Would you like to accompany me?" She didn't really wait for an answer, continuing on. It wasn't long before she stopped and hid behind a tree. A few paces away, seemingly in pain, was the intruder. From the way he looked, he was grasping his heart.
"What is this?" she asked coyly, stepping away from the tree to lean against it.

"Agh....stop..."
After struggling with himself on his knees for a few moments, he let out a scream of anger, looking to the sky through closed eyes. Then he fell on his face, unconscious.
Soon, he began to change. His hair turned from it's black and red to a dark brown and white, and his skin gained color. Shadow energy crept up his skeletal arm and enveloped it for a moment before fading away, revealing a real, human arm. Then, he began to get back up. A bit shaky, he made it to his feet and wobbled around a little bit before falling to his knees once more. He wasn't exactly the same person anymore...

Well right now it seemed like he didn't have much of a choice but to follow Kimiko. It was a bit odd if you said that someone was your friend and then you never hung out with them, right? That was besides the fact that she was just going to go walk away without him. Others may have found it rude but Revlis had never really cared. He was used to following people weather it be Atstune, his father, or some random person like Mikomi. maybe it was that dog thing that was driven into him to be loyal.
He walked along with his hands in his pockets, going another tree not to far away from the girl to see the Roy guy that they had encountered earlier. He kept a close eye on the man with those red violet orbs. Yet, it wasn't long before he had noticed this odd transformation. It even seemed like this guy's aura had changed. He didn't respond in any real way to it though. Why should he? It wasn't like this guy had been nice to him or anything. He did try to attack Kikomi after all, right?
"Looks like someone's gone and joined the freak show," he replied to her. He didn't know what it was and to be honest right now he didn't care. The demon furrie crossed his arms in front of his chest as his tail flickered behind him. How had he gotten caught up in something like this? Oh if only Atsune was there to put him back in a better mood then they would all be well off. He didn't express any emotion painted on his features of splashed into his eyes right now. There was no need.

She flashed a grin to Revie, her adrenaline beginning to course through her once more.
"It's a mystery, isn't it, Revie?" she asked quietly, coaxing him to come closer to her. She didn't really like his attitude. Perhaps it was because she had gotten used to him being an oddity of sorts in comparison to the other daemons. She was getting used to his happy-go-lucky nature and seeing him in this mood was beginning to irriate her. She grabbed hold of his shirt and continued to whisper, a smile on her face despite the irritation beginning to grow. "What happened to the aura of power that was so dark? This aura doesn't feel threatening, does it?"

He'd leaned forward some when she'd began talking to him and beckoning him to come closer to her. When she grabbed his shirt his ears shot forward as she whispered and he was confused about the smile on her face. How could she be happy about this guy or even anything at this moment? It wasn't like it was hard to fool him or anything of that sort. "Nothing's a mystery," he growled softly back at her. Well, nothing was a mystery but Kimiko right now. He couldn't understand her and that itself was very frustrating to him. He glanced back at what had once been Roy before flickering his red violet orbs back to her. "Just what are you getting at?"

Slowly, after a few moments, the figure that once was Roy began to get up once more. He was no longer shaky or impaired in any way. Once on his feet, he looked at his right arm, now in flesh, and then his left. His left arm had been in his cloak the whole time, so Kimiko nor Revlis had seen it, but now he reveals a black, sleek and angular arm, with cyan yellow glowing lines on it. It was cybernetic. He seemed happy to know that it was still functioning. Then, he began to took around him at the beach scene, somewhat confused. His gaze eventually fell on Kimiko and Revlis, talking to each other as they stared at him.
He was interested, and a couple drifting memories of Roy's control came to him. He wanted to clarify that Roy was no longer here, but he didn't want to do so wearing a disgraceful Necromancy robe. So, he tore it off and threw it down without a second thought, took a little disc out of his pocket and threw it down on the robe. He pressed a line on his arm, and the disc exploded into flame, consuming the robe. It may have been a bit extreme and random at the moment, but he absolutely hated death magic.
Now he was wearing a black T-shirt and dark, worn jeans with a chain on it, connected to a pocket watch in the shape of a skull.
Tch. Looks like Roy went the whole nine yards with the whole "necromancer" thing.
He was about to throw it into the flames, but decided to keep it; it might be worth something, and as far as he knew, he was broke. He wasn't very pleased with what he was wearing, but it would have to do. He shuffled his hair a bit so it wasn't so unnaturally straight, and walked over to Kimiko and Revlis. As he approached them, he smiled and gave a casual wave. "Hey"
A pretty lame greeting after such a random transformation, but he wasn't going to talk all olden like Roy did.

"I live for this type of thing," she responded, ignoring his irritation. It was only fair that he be slightly irratated after causin the same thing in her. "The excitement of discovering new things when you thought you knew everything. It's almost the same as it was when you introduced yourself to me, only I'm not so sleepy now."
She hushed when the intruder went through a metamorphasis, completely changing in physical appearance. The smile on her face grew wider as she tugged on Revie's shirt: "See that? Why did he do that? That there is a mystery, ne?"
She had prepared a small arsenal of ice weaponry should the need occur. She wasn't certain the icicles had been detected, but even so, she felt a little more secure knowing they were there at her disposal. Her wind manifested around her, playfully teasing her hair as she stared back at the intruder. He was much different than before. She watched as he ripped the necromancy cloak off his body and burn it.
"Curious," she muttered, her eyes narrowed as she tried to make sense of what was happening. She shifted a little as the intruder walked over to them, taking on a defensive position. She heard the tinkling of the icicles, soft in the wind. His anticlimatic greeting was enough to make her want to roll her eyes. First Revie and now this. How cruel. And here she was thinking she was getting excited over something worthwhile.

Why would someone live for that sort of thing? He looked back at her in confusion, still unable to understand her motives as to how she thought. Some people were just to complex for him to understand these days. Maybe that was why he made himself more complex when he was acting a fool. An excitement of discovering new things you didn't know. Right. He wasn't to sure how to respond to react to that either. "Why would you even want to know," he asked her. Though, that just went against his own words, showing his own curiosity.
He glanced back to the man who had once been Roy and blinked. "I don't know why he did. Maybe he's just weird. Am I supposed to care?" He took not that Kimiko was one guard though. He didn't blame her but wouldn't put his own guard up until he found a threat in thus guy. Right now it just seemed like he was some crazy person that liked to suddenly turn around and burn his cloaked. He watched on with that same confusion engraved into his red violet orbs. So little that he did understand.
Then as he was lost in thought, the weird guy had walked back over to them. Revlis pulled himself from Kimiko's grip on his shirt and glared back softly at this new guy. 'Hey.' That was it? Just 'hey?' He shook his head slightly but wasn't going to be one hundred percent rude right away. "Yo." That would be his simple reply in the beginning. Maybe if he had been acting normal he would have told this guy how cool his transformation was and would have been asking him many different questions about this that and then some.
"Do you need something," he then asked. There was no need for them to stand there in an awkward silence or anything of that nature. He didn't want to deal with it and was sure that they may have not wanted to either. It would have just made things just boring, right? No, he lived for a challenge sometimes in his life. He had a job and wouldn't be one to just stand around doing nothing. So conversation was the best way to channel this energy now. A fanged smirk then crossed his lips as his tail flickered.

"Ah, well, I just wanted to explain some things." His voice has nothing like it was earlier. Not it had a normal, human tone to it. As he spoke, he occasionally scratched the back of his head and looked away from Revlis and Kimiko.
"If you couldn't tell, I'm not really the same person that I was a few moments ago. He who calls himself Roy is like an alternate dark version of me who takes over when specific circumstances are met. But now I'm back to normal. My name's Ark. Arkean Koutetsu."
He paused, spotted scratching the back of his head and looked straight at them.
"I...have to apologize for anything Roy did to hurt you in any way. I just wanted you to understand that I'm a different person..." He trailed off, looking away. He seemed ashamed for what Roy had been doing, and felt it was his own fault that Roy took control and kept it for three full years. He wanted to make allies, and possible friends with these people. But he needed to atone for his and Roy's mistakes first.

Roy. So that was the name of the person that he'd gotten made at before. Though this guy was supposed to be Arkean or whatever he'd just called himself just now. The demon furrie pricked his ears forward as he listened to what else this guy had to say. He engraved every word into his memory for later use or future reference. Now it just seemed like he was apologizing over and over again for something that no longer mattered to him. Maybe it would matter to Kimiko though. He wasn't sure but decided he'd speak.
"Oh trust me, it's much noticeable," he replied back to the other male. Revlis then leaned in some, trying to get a better look at this new Arkean that was before him. Maybe he was now just trying to understand him like how Kimiko said that he should. "You shouldn't apologize for something that you didn't do anyway. It makes you look stupid." Oh there was that Revlis again, the one that had to throw out his rude comments. He didn't hold anything against Arkean now but was still weary of Roy if he dared to appear.

She didn't outwardly respond to Revie pulling away so roughly, her attention captivated by the intruder. Inwardly, in a small corner of her mind, dark and cold, she wondered why. Was she being annoying? Was something wrong with her? Her insecurity shuddered, but was immediately shut down by her curiosity.
"I always want to know more," she said in response to his first question. "The only reason you should care is to know how to defend yourself in case things turn ugly." Here she turned her gaze to him, slightly puzzled. "It's standard, isn't it? You want to make sure you are safe and those around you are too. How will you accomplish that if you don't care about your surroundings? It kind of seems like you don't care about your companions. But that's just me, I guess..."
As she finished, Revie asked the intruder what he wanted and the truth came out. Kimiko crossed her arms as she listened to the story. She wasn't sure she bought into it, but the evidence pointed to the story being true. She casually reached into his mind, probed a little bit and returned, a headache in the making. She decided against using her mental abilities for a while.
"Revie's right," she finally spoke up, a hand rubbing the side of her head. "You don't have to apologize. He was stopped from doing any damage. Although.... I am curious as to what you are when in this form. You don't seem to like the necromancy title." If he was the accomplice of Cultists, she would have to turn around and leave. Killing wasn't in her agenda just yet.

Ark decided to ignore the abruptness of Revlis. He wasn't in the mood to argue. Kimiko seems a bit more...ehh, I don't think she cared too much...more like, just interested. Well, you could say that Ark was "interested" too. He didn't want to build bad relations with these people. He listened patiently for what they had to say.
"Well...ehh, yeah, you're right." He answered Revlis' statement about apologizing for something he didn't do. I guess Roy is a different person from me now. That's good.
When Ark first walked up and made his crappy first words, he could see the disapointment on Kimiko's face. He doesn't like to disappoint people.
"Well, I guess you could call me an experiment..." He wasn't really sure what he could call himself. "I was being scientifically altered for the sake of "research" before the world ended. They were trying to make me into some kind of super-soldier. When the apocalypse struck, the facility I was being kept in bent and I was released. But when I was, they were doing mental alterations....and Roy was born." Ark sighed. "That was more information than you wanted, sorry." Ark crossed his arms, and his cybernetic arm was fully visible.

Revlis glanced back at Kimiko for a second when the girl began to rub her head. He saw no reason for her head to suddenly start hurting. Well, that was unless she couldn't take in information that well. Wait... that didn't make sense either. 'Cause that would have meant that she would have gotten a headache when he wanted her to play fetch with him. No one was ever able to understand him when he was like that. That was the time that people normally got headaches. Maybe he just was the one that didn't understand. well.
Though just as quickly his attention shifted back to Arkean again as he took in the new story that was spilled out to them. So this guy had been around longer than he had been. Well at least he could feel a bit younger then, right? Revlus wasn't sure though he did find the story interesting. "Why would someone even one want work on you? Being a 'super solider' doesn't sound all that great." Then he smirked as he thought it over for a second. Oh, that just had to explain it all there was no other reason.
"Or is it that humans are getting afraid of other creatures again?" His tail flickered back and forth as he awaited an answer from this new person. His red violet gaze caught sight of the arm and he couldn't help but ask another question. "What's the purpose of that too," he asked while pointing. Looking back to Kimiko again, he figured that he could see what she thought about the whole new story now. "What do you think, Kimiko? Interesting, eh?" One day he really would learn that curiosity killed the cat... well the demon furrie in this case.

His words clicked with her. She'd been a different sort of experiment, but one nonetheless. However, it was not the time to dwell on that. She'd done that enough already.
"It is interesting," she answered Revie. Her head tilted as she looked at the arm. "That arm doesn't look like anything I've seen before, so it must be from the time he speaks of." Kimiko shook her head, frowning as the action caused her a little more pain. "I never thought someone could be as old as you claim to be. To have lived before the destruction.... You must have seen so much."
She took a step forward, finally banishing her defenses. Arkean didn't seem to pose a threat. It was the other one that did. So long as they remained with Arkean, it would be fine. At least, that was her reasoning.
"What are you doing now?" she questioned. "Are you just traveling? How did you manage to survive for these years?"

By the looks of things, there were a few more questions to be answered. What the arm is, hos is he that old and still appear to be around 19, and what's he going to do now. However, when he heard Revlis' comment about wanting to be a 'super soldier', he quickly turned away from the couple. This was going to have to be the first thing to clear up. "Do you think...I wanted to become this? Like I had a choice." He turned back around, his expression now stern and serious. "It wasn't my decision to become this. My family was poor in the rough times before the cataclysm, and I was a 'suitable subject' to the research facility. They sold me as a living specimen to be sacraficed for science."
His expression softened. "But....that's all in the past. As for how I've managed to survive all this time, I guess that's something to ask Roy. He's been in control ever since he broke out of the research facility." He drew out a sigh. "As for this...." He held up his arm. As the sleeve fell down, it revealed a jet black arm a little bulkier than his other. It was very angular and definitely made of metal. His hand was almost claw-like, and seemingly sharp. The sleeve partially exposed a crest bearing the logo of the research facility on his shoulder. He thought about it, and decided to answer Kimiko's question after they reacted to his response.

To be honest he'd never found it odd that someone would survive the war. there were many that had. If they hadn't they had child who had and so it. His father could have been an example. Coming from a long line of demons that had always worked with and protected Durtrykil. It was almost funny in a way that he would be the one to find Atsune and keep this legend alive. Even if he wasn't a full demon, he was half and that was enough to do his job. His strength made up for it.
He scoffed when Arkean rambled on about his story. He wasn't interested in that at all. He didn't care about other people's past unless that person was Atsune. It truly was like he was just some loyal dog to her that did nothing else but heel to her side. "Don't give me sad story and expect a happily ever after ending from me." He shifted his red violet gaze to Kimiko for a moment before looking back to the odd man. "If you honestly wanted to you could have gotten away," he then decided to add.
This was something that he always hated, seeing people give in to things. No choices? No people could always make their own choice. They were the ones in control of their lives. Revlis thought that people needed to stand up for what they believed in. Make a voice of their own in the world. Leave a footprint to let everyone know that you were once there. "No one controls your life but yourself. You should have fought back if you didn't want something like that to happen to you. There's no sense in whining about it all now."

Kimiko clasped her hands behind her back, tilting her head.
"Revie is being truthful, isn't he?" she smiled. "You have too much hate in you. It's going to get in the way of what you wish to do, whatever that turns out to be. It's better to focus that energy into something more productive." She spoke from experience. Of course, there was no reason to admit to that. She caught Revie's look and raised an eyebrow at it. What had that been for?
"I won't comment on your hand. It is, after all, a hand. Do what you wish with your life, but regret nothing." She turned on her heel, deciding she should find a nearby town with an inn. "You should live the way you want to, embracing nothing. If you meet God, kill God. If you meet your father, kill him. Not bound to anything, live your life."
She paused to look over her shoulder. "It's a great way to live."

Although he silently heeded the words of Kimiko and stored them for good use later, what Revlis said almost sent him off the edge.
Hm. Just as I thought.
After waiting a minute or two thinking about what they said, he turned around and began to walk away. "I see. Sorry I wasted your time."
Just more people asking meaningless questions. Tch. Why should they care about me? No one ever has, why did I think that they were any different? I guess that's the way things are.
After walking a few yards, he stopped and looked at the sky, watching as clouds slowly made their way from one side to the other.
"Why do I care so much...?" He asked to no one in particular.
