It is thought that the number of tails he possesses is not based on power, but rather, age. Though, it is uncertain as to whether he gains a tail every 100 years or 1000 years. So his true age is pretty much unknown.

Talents ~ Plant Manipulation - All plant-life can be bent to his will, even demonic plants. He can take a harmless blade of grass and change it into a sharp and deadly sword, a simple stalk of wheat can be changed into a spear, ect.
Intellect - He is able to analyze other people, figure out their strengths and weaknesses and use it against them. He prefers logic and strategy over brute force.
Rouge - He has a knack for stealing things. Very good at picking even the toughest locks and people's pockets. He is also very good at escaping and hiding.
He can shift from his human to his youkai form at will, though while he is human, his powers and senses are weaker, but he can usually fool others into believing that he is truly human.
Reflection ~ In his human form, Kurama has bright green eyes, as well as long and vibrant-red hair, with two segments on either shoulder and the rest on his back. He often wears a reddish-purple jacket and pants. While in this form, he is occasionally mistaken for being a woman. While in his Youkai form, he has golden eyes, prominent silver fox ears, as well as a silver tail and long, silver hair. He wears a toga and martial arts shoes. In his fox form, his fur is bluish-silver with black points. He has five tails. [picture below]
Psyche ~ Youko is cold and cunning with a wry sense of humor. He is often the calm strategist, preferring to analyze the opponent's fighting style before attacking. However, this usually ends with him being the most seriously injured. In the end, though, Kurama always has a trick up his sleeve to clinch the match. At times, though, he can be caring to those close to them. When he is faced with danger he becomes cutthroat and merciless.
Biography ~ Kurama was born to uncaring parents who threw him away the first chance they got, seeing him as a weak, useless child. Abandoned and alone, this kitsune child wandered aimlessly through towns and cities, surviving only by stealing. He had tried to steal food, but bit off more than he could chew, since his mark was a master rouge, himself. The rouge, at first, punished young Kurama and let him go free. They later met again, and the rouge decided to take the kitsune under his wing and taught him to become a better thief.
Forgotten ~ Rose whip - Kurama's signature weapon, where he uses his demon energy to grow a rose from its seed state to its flowering state and then into a long thorny whip that's capable of cutting even through steel. This is his favorite weapon.
Seeds - He carries various seeds hidden on him (mainly braided into his hair) that he uses to create a variety of deadly weapons, such as the Rose Whip. Some of these seeds are also seeds of deadly demon plants that he can manipulate to do his bidding.
