Alignment: Evil
Demons take on a human or elvish form. Some have certain qualities that can easily identify them, or at least be able to tell them apart from normal humans. Most demons have black hair with black, red, or golden eyes. There are a few demons with lighter hair and eye colors.
Demons have bat- or dragon-like wings, mainly black and scaly. Some, not all, have horns and a forked tail. These things can be magically hidden, of course.
Demons are semi-immortal, meaning that they will not die until killed and old age does not affect them.
Demons are usually born from the beginning from very sinful parents or from other demon parents. Other demons are created. Durtrykil let loose a battalion of evil spirits who feed off despair and sin. Those who have given up all hope and have turned to Evil usually have their bodies possessed by these spirits, who then manifest demon powers.
Demon who have abandoned the "Evil" Alignment are known as White Demons, preferring to work for the Good Alignment, or just not wanting to be Evil or Neutral. Neutral Demons are no different than Evil Demons, they only prefer to stay away from the fighting. White Demons lose their ability to fly, though, they keep their wings. Raighlot usually returns their ability to fly by granting them Angel wings.
Abilities ~ Flight - Can use their wings to fly. The wings can be hidden.
Elementalist - Fire and/or Darkness elementalist
Teleportation - They can teleport to places they have been to before.
Extrasensory - Can sense who the Evil Incarnate is.
Demons are very vulnerable to holy magic. (Paladins and Clerics possess holy magic)
There are also several variations of Demons that may or may not meet the above specifications.
