Vampires are immortal beings who subsist by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures regardless of them being undead or a living person.
Vampires are usually seen as pale, beautiful, human-like beings with sharp fangs. They often show incredible strength, speed, and stamina. They have been known to only appear at night, having fear of the Day Star, and to sleep in coffins, and to live off the blood of living creatures.
