Ulisses was surprised to see a gryphin come out with another person next to John. Lizzy guessed that they were in the same group because the voice of the girl sounded just as the one that had been screaming earlier. Her starling looked at the druid next to them wondering why he was being so quiet all of a sudden. The look on his face was that of captivation. Apparently he liked this gryphin and for once had shut his mouth. Lizzy noted the way the gryphin was looking at Zareuk though and to her surprise he answered back with praise to the creature and the girl and introduced himself.
Guessing it was her turn she looked at the girl and the gryphon and spoke to both,"Hello, I'm glad to meet you both. My name is Lizzy and this is Ulisses." The starling ran a feather through his feathers quickly as if to clean himself then flew over to the gryphon and John's traveling companion. Ul then sat on the girl's shoulder and was perfectly content and was glad that he didn't have to fight Zareuk at the moment. If only Lizzy had met these three before Zareuk and he wouldn't have had to gone to the trouble before hand trying to come up with catching come backs.

Surprised at being bowed to, in any form, Moriko bowed her head back, blushing slightly, and giggled when Ulisses landed on her shoulder. "It's a pleasure to meet you all," she said, her voice carrying an Irish accent. Screet watched the little bird for a moment before returning his attention to the other half-vampire in the area. John ran his fingers through Screet's feathers, trying to calm him. "What was with the long wait, John??" She glared at him a bit.
"Never mind that now," he muttered to her. Screet made a low chitter, but otherwise stayed silent. "We need to get moving soon." Moriko huffed a bit, but didn't argue, shifting so that her injured leg wouldn't have pressure on it.

Zareuk was a bit disppointed to not get the name of the girl that was new to the group. Though as he thought it over, he could remember that he had heard the griffin's name just once. 'Screet' if he was correct. A smile slipped upon his lips as he continued to look at the creature still. He glared just once back at Ulisses when he saw that the annoying bird had landed on Moriko. He raised a brow at it just once before deciding that this bird wasn't worth his time anymore. No, there was a better winged creature here that he'd devote himself to and that he wouldn't argue with.
Those orange-black ears flickered back up when he heard John speak again and had almost forgotten that he was there. His emerald green eyes went to look at Lizzy as well to make sure that he wasn't going crazy and just seeing things. From the corner of his eye, he had noticed that Moriko had shifted her leg and could tell that it was injured. "May I ask what happened to you leg," he then said aloud to her. Looking back to John once more, he smirked. "You really should learn to take better care of your friends, eh? No sense in leaving them alone when they're hurt." He paused to look at Moriko again. "Not saying that you couldn't defend yourself."

Ulisses stole a glare at Zareuk as he snuggled close to the new girl who had an irish accent. To him it was music to his ears for all tones from anyone was a birds way of singing or talking. He'd hiss if he wanted to, but he knew Lizzy would get mad at him and make him come back. He looked at her though and her face to make sure she was okay. Then he looked to the side of him and saw huge eyes of prey looking at him. A twitter came from him as he was frightened. Then he looked over it and saw that it was just the gryphin. A very fine gryphin indeed. It always depended on the type of cat everyone said, which made gryphin's beautiful or meanicing or anything. Ulisses always said the opposite, it was the bird. Feathers, freshly preened, was what made the image of they gryphin. This one had his full attention. The combination was awesome to behold. He had to admit, the cat part defiantly complemented the gryphin and didn't make it look like a freak accident which could happen if given the wrong combination, the color clashing. No name came from the girl though, but she was pleasant enough he need not be angry at her....yet. John was A-okay, but Zar still held tension for him which almost split with the praise coming from him and how he wanted to help the girl he was snuggling to.
Lizzy took in the girl, fully. When she replied to thier introduction Lizzy began to like her. Something in her voice alerted her though that pain was evident and strong. When John said they needed to start moving out, Lizzy took a step closer to them in urgency. Zareuk then, probably noticed for he started to speak and asked what was wrong while insulting John just a tad. "Please, don't go yet. She's hurt and needs help. If it's bad you're going to have problems traveling," she said to the duo and looked at Zar as if for confirmation.
Ulisses flew off the shoulder and went to the place mentioned by Zar. He chirruped alongside Lizzy, urging the two to stay a bit.

Moriko scowled then at Zare, not appreciating the insult to her friend. "For your information, Screet has been kind enough to let me ride on his back while we travel. I'm perfectly safe alone with Screet, having John around doesn't make a difference to that." Her tone was harsh as she glared at Zareuk, snorting a bit to add to her apparent anger. "John takes care of me enough, especially now that I am wounded, I do not need a babysitter." A nudge from the gryffon stopped her in her rant, and she shook her head, taking a deep breath to calm herself while John turned to look at Lizzy, who had ignored Zare's remark.
"We're searching for someone," he told her. "We rest when we need to but we cannot stall..." He trailed off as he looked at the sky, which was starting to darken. "However," he murmured, "We cannot travel by night..." He lowered his head and motioned to Moriko, who was still fuming. "That's Moriko Snow. My partner."
Moriko bowed her head a bit to Lizzy. "A pleasure to meet you. Sorry for not introducing myself earlier." She smiled a bit at the girl as Screet slid under her legs to carry her on his back again, causing her to yelp a bit in surprise. "Ey! Give me warning!"

The elemental vampire scoffed when he looked back at the bird that had been giving him hell. One day he was sure that he could take care of Ulisses. Then some how he would have to make it up to Lizzy for killing her friend. Well, that was fine with him because eh was sure that he could do it someway. Maybe they'd see the nicer side of him more when the bird wasn't around. It was just a thought that would stay in the back of his head for a while as he planned when and where.
He raised a brow slightly as Lizzy showed some concern for the girl as well. Though he wouldn't say anything about it. Then Moriko had gone and started yelling at him. His ears flashed back slightly. Though he wasn't surprised at all when the girl had said that she didn't need the help of John. Instead she used the help of the griffin. Zareuk would be one to respect something like that any day. Griffins were better than any person could ever be. They were trust worthy and you could count on them for just about anything.
Moriko Snow. So that was her name. He watched as the griffin scooped the girl up. He smiled to himself and advanced forward, ignoring John and keeping his focus on Screet. He held out a hand and gave the griffin enough room by staying at a respectful distance. It was an offer of friendship and maybe of trust if the amazing creature would take to him. Never in his life would he dream of harming a griffin in any way. It would go against him and he would lose the trust of his own griffin friend, Envi in just seconds.
Shifting his gaze back to the girl for a moment, he smiled. "I admire your strength and you have a lovely name," he replied. Then shifting his attention to John for a moment, he didn't insult him for once. "Night will be upon us soon. Maybe you should stop here for the night and allow Lizzy to help you." Of course he would never thing that Ulisses would ever be of any help. Neither would he stay there for the night in the presence of such a bird. They'd never end up on good terms with each other.
