A long time ago

Nyx was just an ordinary girl. Poor and lead a unfortunate and terrible life. Her parents died when she was very young because of the war between the moons. A few years later, she had a dream about her dead parents. She was so eager to stay with them in a dream forever without coming back to reality and the angel of darkness and dreams came to her and made an offer. If she wanted to meet her dead parents while dreaming, she had to give something back. She had to take all the responsibility for the 3rd moon of Venus and fight against evil. She was furthermore given supernatural powers. The unfavorable condition of the offer was that she could only live in a darkness, never seeing the daylight. Therefore, she never goes out and talks to women living in the 3rd moon, it is only in the night when she flies around the moon scattering the stars around and make people dream. It is only in the dreams that she can contact with people and see them. While she herself goes to sleep and dream only to meet her dead parents.


It was that one day in her dreams, that Zoey Redbird saw Nyx. She had crashed her car, another was in her bedroom with an unfavorable, and very human, Aphrodite. She realized all of her duties. Nyx had kissed her, gave her the responsibility to do what was right. To defeat her turnover High Priestess Neferet, and the fallen demon Kalona.


It was then that Zoey, with the help of her friends; Sister Mary Angela, Aphrodite, Grandma Redbird, and Stevie Rae, that she was able to drive away Kalona and Neferet.

The House of Night at Tulsa was long recovered in the next few years. Zoey finished her years as a fledling, but would not except the title of High Priestess, not yet. That is when they appointed a new High Priestess, one who would not turn her back on Nyx. Her name was Kramisha Saunders.

There was talk over the next twenty years about the return of Kalona, word started to spread that he would indeed be back, but no one knew. Until that dreary evening, when a dark cloud swept over the House of Night, an inhumanly beautiful woman once again floated down the halls of the House of Night, frightening everyone in her path, her name was Neferet. It was then that Zoey returned, with all of her affinities, prepared to fight. Neferet only smiled and said only three words, words that swept fear in the hearts of all vampyre's. "Kalona has returned." And with that she vanished.
